Located at the south eastern edge of The Peak District, Matlock is the county town of Derbyshire. Matlock has plenty to see and visit and easily offers a full day out.

Dale Road stretches from Matlock Bridge (which is the road crossing in Matlock over the River Derwent) to North Parade in Matlock Bath. Containing several excellent examples of Victorian architecture, all buildings on Dale Road are contained within two conservation areas.

Occupying a corner position on Dale Road, Number 77 was formerly the ‘Olde Englishe Hotel‘, an establishment which closed in 2009.

Made up of traditional buildings, Dale Road itself offers a wide range of local, independent shops and businesses, with many different styles and in particular a mix of old and new.
